Mu Architecture

MU Bcard

MU Architecture is a Montreal-based architecture firm founded by Charles Côté and Jean-Sébastien Herr in 2010. They specialize in innovative and contemporary design. Their works are influenced by forms, textures, and the environment. What makes them stand out is their concern for details, high-quality achievement, and a strong concept base for their projects. Green architecture and new technology are also very present.

Logo alternative template

The MU Architecture logo represents the style of the company, which is modern, simple, and open. The logo is made up of three shapes that are based on the letters "MU." They are simple on their own, but when they are arranged in a certain way, they create interesting patterns and forms.

This generates a sense of movement and makes the logo more dynamic. The key point of the logo is the thick black line that is used in both the symbol and the company's name.

“Well adapted and unique projects arise from dialogue and creativity.”

MU Architecture

White and black are colours that represent MU architecture. These colours were chosen for their modern, minimalist, and adaptable qualities. The combination of black and white creates a harmonious balance and provides a strong contrast that enhances the visual impact.

This rebranding project was overall a good experience even if there were ups and downs. The most important point in this project in my opinion was to understand a brand and how to create a new visual identity. The challenge was learning how to apply the concept to different applications without making it overbearing.
